Data Visualization
of healthcare and technology industry

This project, completed at USC for the CMGT 507 Information Management and Visualization course, explores how wearable devices and artificial intelligence are transforming healthcare, emphasizing key challenges of trust, privacy, and user education.
SPSS Data ANALYSIS
of PET ADOPTION DATASET

This project, completed for CMGT 540: Analytical Tools for Communication Decisions, explores which factors make dogs more likely to be adopted. Using a Kaggle pet adoption dataset and statistical analyses in SPSS, the study examines how traits such as age, size, friendliness, and medical readiness influence adoption outcomes, providing insights to help shelters improve their communication and adoption strategies.
SPSS Data ANALYSIS
on self-perception, confidence, and social media influence

This CMGT 514 (Analytical Tools for Communication Decisions) project investigates how makeup use relates to self-perception, confidence, and social media influence among Gen Z and Gen X participants. Using survey data analyzed through correlations, regressions, and t-tests, the study found that makeup frequency is linked to higher confidence and self-perception, while following beauty influencers significantly affects makeup behavior and appearance pressure. The findings highlight the complex role of social media in shaping beauty norms and self-image.
PYTHON+COLAB
Data ANALYSIS
on HDI, Literacy, and Global Inequality Patterns

This project uses cross-national data from the Quality of Government (QoG) Institute to explore the relationship between human development, gender inequality, and female literacy. Through bivariate and multivariate OLS regression models in Python, the analysis finds a strong negative association between the Human Development Index (HDI) and the Gender Inequality Index (GII), with HDI explaining about 80% of the variation in gender inequality across countries. Adding female literacy rate as a mediator does not significantly improve the model, suggesting that literacy effects are already embedded in HDI. The project also identifies cases where wealth and corruption diverge, highlighting that governance quality plays a larger role than economic prosperity in shaping social outcomes.
